This is the new, new album.

As you'll note, this is a much more more "organic" sound, a bit more indie and raw then most of the other work on this site, and there's purposely live piano on every single track.

It took a few years to write (melodies in my head and lyrics on paper. Sitting down in the studio to flesh out and orchestrate was the last step. This is completely different from the way I normally compose). I had to pause for over a year at a time at some places, since you can't document territory that hasn't been crossed, and the project was written in 3 distinct periods. I even attempted to begin production of it a year and half earlier, but failed so miserably that I quickly gave up. When I sat down a year and a half later it flowed out like rain.

Obviously a lot of care went into making sure the ongoing theme here was done carefully, subtely, and avoided hitting the listener over the head. In this vien I tried to find new ways to talk about religious thems without resorting to cliches except where it might resonate.
